Despite their shorter stature and robust build, the Dwarves possess an extraordinary aptitude for engineering and the study of thaumaturgy.
The Dwarves dedicate themselves to the pursuit of understanding the world through the combined lenses of science, engineering, and the arcane. They seek to unlock the mysteries of the natural forces that shape Anaias, blending their technical expertise with the arcane arts to create marvels of innovation.

Age. Dwarves tend to live longer thanks to their science and use of the arcane with the average lifespan of nearly five centuries.
Size. Dwarves stand between four and five feet tall, averaging around 150 pounds. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 25 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cannot discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.
Languages. You can read, write, and speak Common and Dwarvish.
Sub-race. Choose a sub-race from the Rautavarasto or Kupari.

Kupari
As the Librarians of the Copperwrite Scrolls, the Kupari value the collection, organization, and dissemination of knowledge above all else. They seek to preserve and expand upon the accumulated wisdom of their people through meticulous study, employing complex systems of organization and the integration of divination.
The Kupari are keepers of vast libraries and archives, preserving the knowledge of Anaias and offering insights into the history and secrets of the world.

Diviner's Insight. You have proficiency with the Arcana (Intelligence) skill and gain access to the Guidance cantrip which can be used at will without spending a spell slot.
Masterful Archivist. You have proficiency with calligrapher's supplies or another tool related to record-keeping or bookbinding. Additionally, when making History (Intelligence) checks to recall information from written sources, you add double your proficiency bonus.
Stichomantic Lore. You can cast Identify once, without spending a spell slot. You regain this ability after a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this feature.
