Searing Strike

With each successful strike, the Bolt Blade infuses the target with a searing charge of lightning. When you hit a creature with the Bolt Blade, it deals an additional 1d6 lightning damage.

Thunderous Bolt

The Bolt Blade can project bolts of lightning from its blade, allowing the wielder to unleash a ranged attack. As an action, you can make a ranged spell attack using the Bolt Blade, targeting a creature within the weapon's range. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 lightning damage. The range of this attack is 30 feet. After using this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
