Detect Alignment
While attuned to the Inquisitor, you gain the ability to detect creatures of non-lawful alignment. You can sense their presence within 30 feet of you, as if using the detect evil and good spell. This ability does not reveal the exact location or identity of the creature, only its alignment.
Inquisitor's Bane
The true power of the Inquisitor is unleashed against creatures of non-lawful alignment. When you successfully hit a non-lawful target with this longsword, you deal an additional 2d8 damage on top of the weapon's regular damage. This damage bonus is considered radiant and cannot be resisted or reduced by non-magical means.
Furthermore, when you score a critical hit against a non-lawful target with the Inquisitor, the damage is tripled, magnifying the devastation wrought upon your foe.
