Scepter of Aethereum
Weapon (scepter), legendary
The Scepter of Aethereum is a unique and revered artifact, cast from the purest electrum that Rautavarasto engineering could produce. Its elegant form encases a solid ironwood core, providing both strength and stability. The scepter is crowned by a polished blue turquoise known as the Tear of Herra, a stone infused with the elemental essence of Vi and the influence of Bro, named in honor of the legendary monk Highlord, Herra Paranemista.
Properties
- Damage: 1d6
- Damage Type: Bludgeoning
- Weight: 3 lbs (1.3 kg)
Special Abilities
- Healing Radiance
- The Scepter of Aethereum emits a warm, healing radiance that envelops all wounded and sickly creatures within a 30-foot radius of its bearer. While attuned to the scepter, any creature in this area regains 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier hit points at the start of their turn. This effect does not affect undead or constructs.
- Illumination
- The Tear of Herra embedded in the crown of the scepter emits a radiant blue light, capable of cutting through darkness in all its forms. The bearer gains darkvision out to a range of 120 feet, and magical darkness created by spells of 2nd level or lower cannot obscure their vision.
- Stunning Deflection
- When a creature makes a melee attack against the bearer of the Scepter of Aethereum, the scepter's magical properties allow the bearer to make a Dexterity saving throw against the attacker's attack roll. On a success, the attacker's strike is deflected, stunning them momentarily. The attacker becomes incapacitated until the end of their next turn.
- Counterstrike
- After successfully deflecting an attack with the Scepter of Aethereum, the bearer can use their reaction to make a melee attack against the stunned attacker; this attack is made with advantage.
