- The Staff of Claws allows a capable arcane spellcaster or druid to channel its power with precision. When you score a critical hit with the Staff of Claws, the target not only suffers the additional damage but also becomes afflicted with confusion. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your spellcasting ability modifier). On a failed save, the target becomes confused, as per the effects of the Confusion spell. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. Once the Confusion effect ends, the target is immune to this ability for the next 24 hours. This ability can only be used once per day.
