This ability can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and all expended uses are regained at dawn.

Once per day, when you hit a creature with a melee attack using the staff, you can choose to dispel one magical effect currently affecting the target. The dispelled effect is determined by the DM and may include spells, enchantments, or other magical influences.
