Rage of the Plains
One of the few survivors from the Tribe of the Wandering Bear after the Shattering, born to the name Hunger-of-Fire, had been raised among his people as a hunter and protector. He demonstrated great strength and resilience, able to lead hunting parties and camping expeditions across the great central plains of Urngor. His ferocity and skill for the hunt was a testament to his people, matched only by his intense wanderlust. When the Forge-Mountain exploded from the Gray Lord's folly, the tribe had been near enough to Viborg to share in its devastation, and much of the tribe had been killed on that horrible night. He had only survived as he had been with a late evening hunting party. Returning to find his people decimated from the flaming stones of the erupting Forge-Mountain, his fierce rage and great sorrow found no outlet, crushing his thoughts under the weight of grief. After helping who he could, he set out upon the plains to wander, living the life he knew in solitude.
Three years later, Hunger-of-Fire found himself hunting and trading with merchants between Baldor and Whisdain when he encountered the ethereal form of Theron Bhaird in his dreams beseeching his aid in the quest to undo the harm caused by the actions of his sundered master. Gripping a decorated hunting club adorned with the emblems of his lost tribe, he swore allegiance to Theron and his dangerous journey with the thought of avenging his people in his grieving heart.
